PROUD OF OUR ROOTS.
PROUD TO GIVE BACK.
SWS has always been a family business with close ties to Clydebank. Here are some of the local people, charities and events we're proud to support.
SUPPORTING
GOLDEN FRIENDSHIPS.
Golden Friendships is a Clydebank charity bringing people together, reducing isolation and creating opportunities for everyone to feel part of the community.
Our family is proud to be a long-standing supporter. Each year we help fund meals for people experiencing homelessness and cover a month of community meal costs, easing the fundraising pressure on the people who make these meals possible.
We also collect donations for Golden Friendships when our family and SWS fleet attend Truckfest.

THE CHRISTMAS
CHARITY CONVOY.
In 2025, SWS joined forces with another local business to organise the first Clydebank Christmas Charity Convoy. More than 100 vehicles took part as local businesses came together for a festive drive through Clydebank, Bearsden, Duntocher and Faifley.
The first convoy raised funds for St Margaret of Scotland Hospice in Clydebank. The 2026 event will support the hospice again, alongside Flourishing Faifley.
It's about more than lorries: it's local businesses, families and communities doing something positive together.

THE FAMILY BEHIND SWSTRUCKFEST.
WITH A PURPOSE.
For the last three years our family has taken part in Truckfest with the SWS fleet. Alongside sharing our enthusiasm for trucks and spending time together, we put out charity buckets and raise funds for Golden Friendships.
We're proud that the vehicles we work with every day can also help bring people together for a good cause.

PROUD TO PLAY OUR PART.
Whether we're supporting a local club, collecting donations at a truck show or helping put on the Christmas convoy, we're grateful for the chance to give back.
